CAUTION
The fixing unit and its surroundings (including the output area and the staple

cartridge for LBP5975) inside the printer are hot during use. Make sure the
fixing unit is completely cool before replacing it. Touching the fixing unit when it
is still hot may result in burns.
The fixing unit weighs approximately 6.4 lb (2.9 kg). When carrying the fixing
•
unit, hold the tabs on both sides with both hands securely. If you drop the fixing
unit on your feet, this may result in personal injury.

IMPORTANT
Reset the counter after replacing the fixing unit.

Be careful not to hold or touch areas that are not specified in this procedure, such as the

roller in the fixing unit.
This may result in deterioration in print quality or damage to the fixing unit.
Dispose of the packing materials according to local regulations.
