OPTION SETTING

For setting communications conditions and alarms.
The OPTION menu lets you set the following three functions: CONTROL, ADDRESS and ALARM.

CONTROL setting

This sets whether other peripheral devices can
be used to operate the camera by means of the
RS-485 interface or a linked coaxial cable.

In the MAIN MENU, use the CURSOR
button (j or l) to move the cursor to
SET for OPTION, then press the SET
button.
The OPTION screen will appear.

Use the CURSOR button (j or l) to
move the cursor to 485 for CONTROL,
use the CURSOR button (d or c) to
select the device to be operated, and then
press the SET button.
Available settings:
485: For operation by the System Controller.
COAX: For operation of device by linked
coax cable.
If you select COAX, setting is complete.
If you select 485, go to the step 3.

Press the SET button.
The RS-485 SETTING screen will appear.

Use the CURSOR button (jldc) to
make settings given below.

BAUD RATE
Sets the value for BAUD RATE
Available settings: 19200, 9600, 4800,

TERMINATE
Sets the terminate setting
Note: If the signals are reflected by a
termination, the correct signals will not
be sent to other equipment. Be sure
to set the camera termination
correctly.
ON: When using a single camera, or for
both cameras at the end of several
cameras connected in series.
OFF: Cameras other than those at the end
To return the settings in this screen to their
defaults, change PRESET to ON and then
press the SET button.
The CONTROL setting will not be returned to
its default setting even if PRESET is set to
ON in the MAIN MENU.
To close the menu screen or return to the
previous screen, select BACK or END for
MENU and press the SET button.
