VIEW SETTING

APERTURE

(Profile compensation setting)

Set this function to further emphasize the profile
of the target object. The amount of
compensation can be adjusted for horizontal or
vertical directions.

In the VIEW SETTING screen, use the
CURSOR button (jldc) to select ON
for APERTURE, then press the SET
button.
The APERTURE SETTING screen will
appear.

Use the CURSOR button (jldc) to
make the settings given below.
Available settings: 1 – 15 (Compensation
To return the settings in this screen to their
defaults, change PRESET to ON and then
press the SET button.
To close the menu screen or return to the
previous screen, select BACK or END for
MENU and press the SET button.

GAMMA correction setting

In addition to turning gamma correction ON or
OFF, contrast sensitivity can be boosted at 2
levels.
Use the CURSOR button (j or l) to move
the cursor to OFF for GAMMA, then use the
CURSOR button (d or c) to select the
gamma correction.
Available settings:
ON: Gamma correction ( = 0.45)
SMART 1: Correction 1
SMART 2: Correction 2 (improves contrast for
dark locations)
OFF: No gamma correction
Note: When using SMART 1 or SMART 2, the
target object may be too bright, so
determine which setting is better for the
target object.
To return the settings in this screen to their
defaults, change PRESET to ON and then
press the SET button.
To close the menu screen or return to the
previous screen, select BACK or END for
MENU and press the SET button.
