* Raise the presser foot lifter.
* Press the Up/Down needle button twice to
raise the needle,

[] Draw the thread around the upl_er thread guide.

[] Then, down around the check spring holder.
4_ Check spring holder
[] Firmly draw the thread from right to left over the
take-up lever and down into the take-up lever eye_
(_ Thread take-up lever
[] Then, down through the lower thread guide.
(_) Lower thread guide
[] Slide the thread behind the needle bar thread guide
on the left
Thread the needle from front to back or use the
needle threader.
