Sew a Button
(_) Selected stitch
Q F: Satin stitch foot
(_ Drop feed dog.
Q Stitch width control key
[] Match the holes on the button with the horizontal
slot on the presser foot.
[] Lower the foot to hold the button in place.
Press the stitch width control key" +" or" -" to
set the zigzag width matching with the distance
of the holes on the button°
[] Check if the needle enters into the holes on the
button by turning the handwheel by hand,,
[_ Readjust the ziazag width if necessary°
[_ Sew about ten stitches, then cut the threads
leaving about 10 cm (4")° Trim both needle and
bobbin threads at the beginning,,
[_ Pull the bobbin thread to draw the needle thread
to the bottom side of the fabric and knot the
threads°
* After the button sewing is completed, raise
the feed dogs for normal sewing,,
