Option
If you have a serial interface, the serial
interface options selected on the printer
must be the same as the settings you
selected using your software or your
computer operating system. If the
settings are not the same, the printer
will not print or will print garbage.

If you are not using software to specify
the top margin of the page, use the
printer's default top-of-form setting, 1
inch (25.4 mm) from the top of the paper.
If you are using software to specify the
top margin of the page, change the
default setting to 1/6 inch (4.2 mm).

You can change the printer's primary
configuration.
