FASTPTCP Event Messages

The event messages in this section are generated by FASTPTCP processes beginning
with the G06.10 and D48.xx RVUs and replace the EMS 512 text messages generated
by FASTPTCP in previous RVUs.
FASTPTCP generates tokenized EMS messages on the $0 collector. These messages
cannot be redirected to another EMS collector. FASTPTCP messages are identified by
the owner/subsystem name: TANDEM.FASTPTCP. The SSID number is 240 and the
three-letter management code is FSP. The ZSPIDEF file defining FASTPTCP events is
named ZFSPDDL.
Note. As a temporary measure, to allow users time to adjust EMS filters dependent on the old-
format messages, these messages can be disabled by setting bit 15 (%1) of the Spoolcom
PRINT PARM attribute. When this bit is set, the FASTPTCP ASCII text (old 512 text format)
messages will be generated instead.
