MEMORY/CALL OPERATION

■ Copying memory/Call contents

This function copies a memory channel's contents to
the VFO, another memory or Call channel. This function
is useful when searching for signals around the memory
channel frequency, and for easy recalling the frequency
offset, subaudible tone frequency, and so on.
D Memory/Call channel ➪ VFO
q
Push [VFO/MR/CALL] several times to select the memory
mode or Call channel mode.
• For memory channel:
Push [Y] or [Z] to select the memory channel to be copied.
w Push [FUNC](M), and then hold down [VFO/MR/CALL]
for 1 second to copy the selected memory or Call
channel contents to the VFO.
• The VFO mode is automatically selected.
D Memory/Call ➪ memory/Call
q Push [VFO/MR/CALL] several times to select the memory
mode or Call channel mode.
• For memory channel:
Push [Y] or [Z] to select the memory channel to copy.
w Push [FUNC](M), and then push [VFO/MR/CALL].
• "X" and "--" blink.
• Do not hold down [VFO/MR/CALL] for more than
1 second, otherwise the memory contents will be
copied to the VFO mode.
e Push [Y] or [Z] to select the target memory or Call
channel.
r Push [FUNC](M), and then hold down [VFO/MR/CALL]
for 1 second, to copy the contents of selected mem-
ory or Call channel to the target memory.
[i.e.]: Copying memory channel 11 contents to the VFO
Push or to select channel 11.
Push , and then hold down
[i.e.]: Copying memory channel 11 contents to channel 12.
Push or to select channel 11.
