For Windows 3.1 and Windows 3.11 for Workgroups
1. In the Main window, double-click the Control Panel icon.
2. Double-click the Printers icon.
3. In the Printers dialog box that appears, click the Connect
button.
4. Select a COM (serial) port.
5. Click the OK button to save this setting.
For Windows 95
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click
Printers.
2. Right-click the Epson EPL-N2000 icon, and click Properties in
the menu that appears. Be sure to right-click your printer.
3. Select the Details tab.
4. Click the arrow next to the Printer Port drop-down list. Then
select a COM (serial) port.
5. Click OK to save this setting.
Using the serial interface utility
You can use the serial interface utility that comes with your
printer to specify the port and the baud rate of your computer
for the serial interface connection.
This utility is included in the Remote Control Panel utility. For
details on installation of the Remote Control Panel utility, see
Chapter 4.
