3.2.3.5 Bottom Panel Removal
It is recommended that you take off the top cover prior to tilting the unit as shown below. Refer
to section 3.2.3.1 for top cover removal.
When tilting the unit without removing the top cover, careful attention should be paid so as not
to overload the top cover or other components.
Spread a thick, soft cloth under the printer before starting to work on it.
When attaching the bottom panel, be sure that the parallel interface cable latch is not caught
between the lower case and the panel.
Take off the side cover. (Refer to section 3.2.3.2.)
Step 1:
Open the rear cover. Remove the two CBS (0) (M3 X 6) screws used to fix the earth lines of

Tilt the unit and lay it on its back while supporting the top cover to protect it from scratches.
