Applying Power to the HP NetServer

Refer also to the "Sleep States (ACPI)," if supported by a compatible NOS.

Powering Up the HP NetServer

1. Ensure the HP NetServer's power cord is connected to a power source, and
the PWR light on each of the HP NetServer's power supplies is flashing
green. See Figure 2-6.
2. Verify the LCD window indicates System is powered off or HP
NetServer LXr 8500 .
3. Press the Power button on the front control panel. See Figure 2-2.
