Event Log Menu

The Event Log menu allows you to get information about current and resolved
events from the HP NetServer's event log and view it on the front panel display.
The menu provides a list of all events currently in the log. These may be errors, or
normal system events like a system boot.
1. To select Event Log from the Main Menu, press the Enter button.
A display similar to the one shown below appears on the HP NetServers
front panel display. Only the first two lines of the log can be appear on the
HP NetServer's front panel display:

2. Use the front panel's down-arrow button to scroll down through the rest of
the entries.
A sample display appears below:

>008! POST Error
>007! TempError
>006
CPU Failure
>005
POST Error
>004
Volt Error
>003
CPU Failure
>002! POST Error
>001
System Boot
Each line includes a brief summary of a log entry, including the log entry
number. An "!" on a log entry means the problem is still current.
3. To read the complete log entry for an error, use the arrow keys to select the
event listing and press the front panel's Enter button.
An example of a full window display, providing detailed information about
the event condition, appears as shown below.
