Main Menu

The setup utility consists of a main menu that leads to several configuration
screens. The menu choices are:
Main - Sets system time and date, language, keyboard characteristics, and
changes flexible disk drive type and processor information.
Advanced (Advanced configuration settings) - Includes PCI configuration
and I/O device configuration and sets HP NetServer to work with a
plug-and-play OS, selects a large disk access mode, sets a pause before
boot, chooses a multiprocessor specification version and its chipset control.
You can also set the NetServer to reset its configuration data during the
next boot.
Security - Sets user and supervisor passwords, sets NetServer to require
password after booting, and sets system parameters for operating in Secure
Mode.
Server - Enables system event logging and sets its logging options. Also,
redirects the console and sets the HP NetServer to re-test its processors at
boot time.
Boot - Sets the boot device priority (boot order) for the HP NetServer's
internal hard disk drives and for its removable devices. It also sets the
maximum number of I
pause interval during POST.
Exit - Exits the setup utility with or without saving changes, saves changes
without exiting, or reverts to previous settings without exiting. When you
exit, the HP NetServer reboots.

Using the Setup Screens

Online help explains the settings displayed on the Setup. You also get instructions
for navigating between the screens and entering or changing the setup data.
Press the right-arrow and left-arrow keys to move between selections on
the menu bar.
The menu bar is present at the top of most screens
Press the up-arrow and down-arrow keys to move between fields on each
screen.
The currently selected field is highlighted.
