4. Enable OSPF on the port 1/0/15.
a. From the main menu, select Routing > OSPF > Advanced> Interface Configuration. A screen
similar to the following displays.

b. Under Interface Configuration, scroll down to interface 1/0/15 and select the checkbox for that
interface. 1/0/15 now appears in the Interface field at the top.
• In the OSPF Area ID field, enter 0.0.0.1.
• Select the Enable from the OSPF Admin Mode pull-down menu.
c. Click Apply to save the settings.
5. Configure area 0.0.0.1 as a stub area.
a. From the main menu, select Routing > OSPF > Advanced> Stub Area Configuration. A screen
similar to the following displays.

b. Enter the following information in the Sub Area Configuration.
In the Area ID field, enter 0.0.0.1.
