Basic Copying
User either the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or the document glass to make copies.
Load the originals to be copied and follow the steps below to make copies.

Document Glass
Lift the ADF cover and place the original
facedown, towards the back, left corner of the
document glass as shown.

On the control panel, press the Copy button.

Specify the copy settings, see

Specify the number of copies using the control panel keypad. The number of copies
appears on the upper, right corner of the display.
4.
Press the Start-Color button for color copies or Start-B&W button for black and white
copies.

If you placed originals in the ADF, copying continues until the document feeder is
empty.

To stop copying, press the Stop/Reset button.
Note:
If the Stop/Reset button is pressed while copying
appears on the control panel. To continue the copy job, press the Start-Color or Start B&W
button.

Insert originals faceup with the top of the page
entering the feeder first. Adjust the paper guides
so they fit against the originals.
