Setting Up the Other Copy Presets

The other copy presets are used to set up additional, detailed copy presets. Enter the
[Code] number and the [New] parameters from the table below to set up the other system
presets.

Sets the roll or tray from which to feed the
banner sheet.

Sets up the length of the banner sheet.

Sets up the media type for the banner sheet.

Determines whether or not to use the
smoothing function when printing.

mark) on the control panel's [Independent
Portrait/Landscape Percentage] setup
screen.

synchronized cut when printing a sample
copy.
Function
Smoothing is a function that prints copies at a higher resolution (1200 dpi).The
smoothing function corrects jaggedness on angled lines and smooths images. This can
be set up separately for both copying and printing.
Halftones may print darker than usual when the smoothing function is used.
