stored in 16-bit color, JPG format. Resolution
settings range from a low end of 96 x 72
pixels to a high end of 1600 x 1200 pixels. You
can change the default setting. See
Customizing your Camera settings for details.
1 Press Home
Start
(left softkey).
2 Select Pictures & Videos
3 Select Camera.
If you see a camcorder icon below the
TIP
preview image, video mode is on. To turn on
the still camera, press Menu (right softkey)
and select Still.

4 Adjust the position of your smartphone
until you see the subject you want to
photograph on the screen.
5 (Optional) Adjust any of the following:
Zoom: Press Up
Down
to zoom out.
Brightness: Press Menu

select the brightness level.
Resolution: Press Menu

select the image quality level.
6 (Optional) Set a five-second timer: Press
Menu

Mode > Timer.
7 Press Center
to capture the picture

8 Hold your smartphone still until the
picture renders. To ensure that you
captured the picture, wait until you hear
the shutter sound. Then do one of the
following:
