SAMPLING MODE
This section presents an overview of the procedure for setting sampling conditions. For details, see
subsections 6-2-1 throuah 6-2-4.

Select the SAMPLING MODE from the mode menu selection
screen.
Select the condition setting function of the SAMPLING MODE;
the screens shown below will be displayed. The displayed
settings are the default values.

Vhen the start condition is set, the display will automatically
hange to setting screen (2).
Setthe sampling conditions. When these conditions are ON (or
OFF), the data in the specified data register will be sampled.

Data is collected at fixed intervals.
Set the time at which sampling is to start.
Device:
Sampling is started when an X, Y, M,
S, T,
or C bit
comes ON (OFF - . ON) or aoes OFF (ON - . OFF).

Timing:
Specify the day, hour, minute, and second. Sam-
pling will start from the specified time. The refer-
ence time is the time set in the OTHER MODE.

Set the time at which sampling is to end.
NUMBER: Set the number of times sampling is to be executed.
When the set number is reached sampling will end.
Trigger:
Max. 800 times
Cyclic: Max. 2,000 times
If the 800- or 2,000-time limit is reached before the
set sampling end time, data items are progressively
cleared starting from the oldest and replaced by
newly sampled data.
Device:
Sampling ends when the specified bit device comes
ON or goes OFF.
Time:
Set the day, hour, minute, and second. Sampling
will end when the set time is reached.
Specify the data register (16-bit) to be used for sampling.
Although only one device is specified, two data registers
-
D and
(D+l)
-
are sampled.
When all conditions have been set the message "SETTING?" is
displayed. Respond OK to register the set conditions; respond-
ing CANCEL makes it possible to set the conditions again. Note
that once the [ENTER] key has been pressed to register the
conditions it is not possible to return to the previous stage. If
the settings have to be changed, respond CANCEL and set the
sampling conditions again.
