Data transfer during sampling
T h e consequences of performing data transfer while sampling is in progress are:
Writing:
Sampling continues provided that the sampling condi-

tions do not change. If the sampling conditions
change, sampling is stopped. However, the data
sampled up t o that time is preserved.
Reading:
Sampling continues and the sampled data is

Checking:

Conditions for DATA TRANSFER
Writing
40DU-E memory type: J RAM X EPROM
If the FX-40DU-E is using an EPROM for memory the error message
"CAN NOT WRITE-IN DU MEMORY" will be displayed. If this happens,
set the FX-40DU-E to RAM operation by setting DIP switch No.3 at the
rear of the FX-40DU-E to the ON position, or remove the EPROM, write
the data from the personal computer into the EPROM by using a ROM
writer, and reinstall the EPROM.
