MODE
Programmable controller control signal
The back-light can be switched on by a control device set in the system settings of the OTHER
MODE of the screen creation software.
b2:
ON: Back-light goes OFF after the time set for SET BACKLIGHT has elapsed.
OFF: Back-light is continuously ON.
Example: Assume that the starting number of the contra! device is MO

After the back-light has gone off, it can be turned back on by switching control device b2 off, but apart
from this it can also be turned ON by FX-40DU-E operation key input, by external input, and by screen
changes initiated by the programmable controller in the USER SCREEN MODE.
When the back-light is off, keys that invoke a screen change will both switch the back-light on and
change the screen. To remain on the current screen and switch the back-light on, you are recom-
mended to press keys that perform no operation.
