10) The table shows the standard time limit when using "category 2" engine oil. Multiply the time limit by 2 when using
"category 3" engine oil (see specification).
11) Engines with centrifugal oil filter: multiply the time limit by 2. When using centrifugal oil filter and "category 3"
engine oil, multiply the time limit by 4.
12) KD62V12A-5*EC engines only: standard time limit is 125h.

Replace.

Change engine oil

Collect and send oil sample for analysis.
KD62V12A-5*EC engines only: collect and send
an additional oil sample for analysis at oil
midlife.

Replace.
Make sure that spin-on oil filters are replaced
when oil is changed.
Clean engine side sealing area before and after
filter removal.
