5.5.1 Part reinstallation

u Make sure that all removed components or parts are reinstalled.
u Make sure that torques were applied according to tightening specifications.

u Make sure that all tools, special tools, rags, and other consumables are removed from the
engine.
5.5.2 Spray painting
Specific safety instructions
DANGER
Fire or explosion by flammable and explosive chemical products.
Burns or explosion release will result in death or serious injury.
u Avoid any contact of flammable and explosive chemical products with any hot surface or
ignition source.
u Lock out and tag out the engine prior to carrying out paint works on it.
u Ensure a good ventilation while carrying out paint works on the engine.
u Smoking and open flames are forbidden in the vicinity of the engine.
WARNING
Risk of injuries by contact with or inhalation of chemical products.
Contact with or inhalation of chemical products could result in death or serious injuries by
intoxication or poisoning.
u Wear proper personal protective equipment.
u Refer to the local regulations and the product associated data to safely handle, store, and
use these products.
