NOTE:
When
adjusting the balancer chain tensioner,
change the oil at the same time.
CAUTION:
To prevent oil leakage, do not use the old
magneto cover gasket.

Tightening torque
( 1.5 — 2.0 kg-m

Remove the left knuckle guard.
Clutch play @ should be 2 — 3 mm as measured
e Loosen the clutch cable adjuster lock nuts ()
and slide the clutch cable adjuster (2) left or
right to acquire the specified play.
@ Tighten the lock nuts while holding the adjuster
in position.

(0.08 — 0.12 in)
NOTE:
Minor adjustment can be made by the adjus-
ter @ after loosening the lock nut @). At the
same
intervals,
lubricate
the
clutch
cable
with motor oil.
