Installation Procedure Checklist
This section contains a checklist of the required steps from SPARC M10-1 installation
to initial diagnosis to ensure that the device setup is complete and the device is ready
for use.
You can customize this checklist according to your use environment, and use it in
combination with the workflow in
Table C-1 SPARC M10-1 Workflow (from Installation to Initial Diagnosis)
Work description
1. Before installing the system, check the
safety precautions, system specifications,
and necessary conditions for
installation.
2. Prepare the necessary tools/
information for installation.
3. Confirm the delivered components.
4. Install the rack.
5. Mount the SPARC M10-1 in the rack.
6. If there is a PCI expansion unit, mount
it in the rack.
7. After mounting the SPARC M10-1,
confirm the complete contact
(complete engagement) of the power
supply unit and internal disk.
