a. Attach the radiator cap tester "1" to the radia-
tor.

b. Apply 140 kPa (1.4 kg/cm², 19.91 psi) of pres-
sure.
c. Measure the pressure to check its maintain-
ing applied pressure.

4. Measure:
• Radiator cap opening pressure
Below the specified pressure → Replace the
radiator cap.
Refer to "CHECKING THE RADIATOR" on
page 6-3.
