REMOVING THE REAR COVER

1. Remove:
• Rear cover

a. Remove the quick fastener screws.
b. Slide the rear cover rearward and remove it.

INSTALLING THE REAR COVER

1. Install:
• Rear cover

a. Slide the rear cover forward and install it.
b. Install the quick fastener screws.

REMOVING THE SIDE COVERS

The following procedure applies to both of the

side covers.
1. Remove:
• Side cover

▼ ▼▼▼ ▼ ▼▼▼ ▼
a. Remove the screws and quick fastener
screws.
b. Unhook the projections on the side cover
from the rear fender.
c. Pull the side cover outward and remove the
projections on the side cover from the grom-
met in the footrest board, bottom cover, and
tail/brake light assembly.
