REMOVING THE BOTTOM COVERS

The following procedure applies to both of the
bottom covers.
1. Remove:
• Bottom cover
▼ ▼▼▼ ▼ ▼▼▼ ▼ ▼ ▼▼▼ ▼
a. Remove the quick fastener screws and
screws.
b. Unhook the projections on the bottom cover
from the slots in the footrest board.
c. Pull the bottom cover outward and remove
the projection on the bottom cover from the
grommet in the front cowling lower inner pan-
el.

INSTALLING THE BOTTOM COVERS

The following procedure applies to both of the
bottom covers.
1. Install:
• Bottom cover

▲ ▲▲▲ ▲ ▲ ▲▲▲ ▲ ▲ ▲▲▲ ▲
▼ ▼▼▼ ▼ ▼▼▼ ▼
a. Fit the projection on the bottom cover into the
grommet in the front cowling lower inner pan-
el.
b. Fit the projections on the bottom cover into
the slots in the footrest board.

c. Install the screws and quick fastener screws.

4.0 Nm (0.40 m·kgf, 2.9 ft·lbf)
Bottom cover screw (upper side)
1.5 Nm (0.15 m·kgf, 1.1 ft·lbf)
