TROUBLESHOOTING CONTINUED

Problem
Water has pooled under case.
Case is not draining properly.
Frost or ice on evaporator coil.
Lights do not come on.

Possible Cause
Case drain is clogged.
PVC drains under case may have a leak.
Case tub has unsealed opening.
If the case is in a line-up, case to case
joint is missing or unsealed.
Evaporator pan is overflowing (if
applicable).
Case is not level.
Drain screen is plugged.
Drain or P-trap is clogged.
Evaporator fans are not functioning.
Defrost clock is not functioning.
Coil is freezing over.
LED Driver / light socket wiring.
LED Driver needs to be replaced.
LED fixture socket / connection needs to
be replaced.
LED fixture needs to be replaced.
Light Switch needs to replaced.
Possible Solution
Clear drain.
Repair as needed.
Seal as needed.
Install case to case joint and seal as needed.
Check electrical connection to evaporator pan. Check float assembly, it should
move freely up and down the support stem. Clear any debris.
Level the case.
Clean drain screen and remove any debris.
Clear any debris.
Check electrical connections.
Case should be serviced by a qualified service technician.
Return air is blocked, make sure debris is not blocking the intake section.
Coil close-offs are not installed. Inspect coil to make sure these parts are on the case.
Check electrical connections. See Electrical Section and check wiring diagram.
