6.1
Interface to the energy storage management system
The energy storage system is connected to the higher-level control as a PROFINET S7 I-Device.
Data are exchanged between SIMOCRANE ESSM and the PLC over the defined telegram
interface. The energy storage system can be controlled via the receive area (from the
perspective of the ESS). Status information is transferred via the send area (from the perspective
of the ESS). SIMOCRANE ESSM can also be operated from a local operator panel.
