    An AC island grid can be set up from the DC link controlled by SIMOCRANE ESSM using an "Active Line Module" (ALM) to create the grid, for example. This makes it possible to operate independently of the line supply. The specified charge and discharge power limit is not exceeded.

    Droop control makes parallel connection possible. The droop value determined by the energy storage system [%] (p.54127) must be signaled to SIMOCRANE ESSM.     6.1.1 Selection of operator interface Three operator stations are available. SIMOCRANE ESSM is controlled via the remote PLC as standard. It is possible to switch to the "Local" and "Service" modes from the local operator panel for the purpose of maintenance, service or commissioning measures.
