Vent Pipe Clearance
NOTICE: Horizontal vent, maintain a minimum 1-inch clearance
to the bottom and sides of the vent, and
clearance to combustibles above the vent pipe.
Side Wall and Ceiling
The minimum clearance from the top of fire place to the ceiling is
36 inches. The minimum clearance from the side of the fireplace
opening to an adjacent sidewall is 6 inches.
