Disposing of Discharged Ink
The message "CHECK DRAIN BOTTLE" appears when a certain amount of discharged fl uid has collected in the bottle.
!! IMPORTANT !!
- "EMPTY DRAIN BOTTLE" message disappears when "NO" is selected without disposing of discharged fl uid.
If "NO" is selected continuously, the hand or the work fl oor may get soiled by overfl owing discharged fl uid
from drain bottle.
- Never place discarded fl uid in the location close to fi re.
- To store discharged fl uid temporarily, use the included drain bottle or durable sealed container such as a metal can
or polyethylene tank, and cap it tightly.
- Dispose of discharged fl uid properly, in accordance with your local laws.

!! IMPORTANT !!
- Never use gasoline, alcohol, thinner, or any other fl ammable material.
- Clean by wiping with a cloth moistened by neutral detergent diluted with water then wrung dry.

- Super Cleaning
- Light choke cleaning is used when color is uneven and unstable, i.e. darkness or brightness is
different although the same data is printed with the same settings.
It consumes a large amount of ink. Frequently performing it makes the print heads more likely to be
damaged. Avoid using it more than necessary. necessity ?
- Super cleaning is only used after tried all the cleaning functions ( normal, midium, powerful) and
manual cleaning, and doesn't improve missing dots quality.
Manual Cleaning of Print Head
!! IMPORTANT !!
- To keep the stable output condition at all times, perform the manual cleaning more than once a month.
- The cut rail is not detected by the sensor. Be sure to put it back when completing the manual cleaning.
