Adjust the VR on the Carriage Board so that the

[OUTPUT LEVEL] will be 0.35 - 0.45V.
Remove the media clamp.

Select [PAPERSIDE SENSE] > [SENSOR AUTOTEST]

Press the [ENTER] key to carry out the test and make
sure the voltage is 0.5V or below and the NOISE is 0.
If the voltage is more than 0.5V, try the followings and

go back to step 7 .
1) Check the Right media clamp is attached correctly.
2) Clean the REFLECTION TAPE.
3) Replace the REFLECTION TAPE with new one in
case of scratch.
If the NOISE is more than 0, try the followings and go
back to step 10 .
1) Clean the REFLECTION TAPE.
2) Replace the REFLECTION TAPE with new one in
case of scratch.
