Tip:
If you can't receive beamed information, press Start and select Settings .
Select the Connections tab, and then select Beam . Make sure the Receive
all incoming beams box is checked. If you still can't receive information, try
a soft reset (see "Resetting Your Smart Device" on page 320).
Synchronizing Over an Infrared Connection
1.
Set up your computer to receive infrared beams. (See ActiveSync Help on
your computer for details.)
2.
Point your smart device's IR port directly at the IR port on your computer.
3.
On your smart device, press Start
4.
Select ActiveSync
5.
Press Menu
6.
Select Sync.
