4.14 Discharge Pipe Temperature Control

Method of
An error is determined with the temperature detected by the discharge pipe thermistor.
Malfunction
Detection
 If the temperature detected by the discharge pipe thermistor rises above 120°C (248°F), the
Malfunction
Decision
 The error is cleared when the discharge pipe temperature has dropped below 107°C (224.6°F).
Conditions
 If the error repeats, the system is shut down.
 Reset condition: Continuous run for about 60 minutes without any other error
 Defective discharge pipe thermistor

 Defective electronic expansion valve or coil
 Refrigerant shortage
 Defective four way valve
 Water mixed in refrigerant
 Defective stop valve
 Defective outdoor unit PCB
