Method of
High-pressure control (operation halt, frequency drop, etc.) is activated in cooling operation if the
Malfunction temperature sensed by the outdoor heat exchanger thermistor exceeds the limit.
Detection
 The temperature sensed by the outdoor heat exchanger thermistor rises above about 65°C
Malfunction
Decision
 The error is cleared when the temperature drops below about 50°C (122°F).
Conditions
 The installation space is not large enough.
Supposed
 Dirty outdoor heat exchanger
Causes
 Defective outdoor fan motor
 Defective stop valve
 Defective electronic expansion valve or coil
 Defective outdoor heat exchanger thermistor
 Defective outdoor unit PCB
Service Diagnosis
