measurement location, pluck the belt so that it vibrates the string. The plucking tech-
nique is similar to way you would pluck a guitar string, firm but not too hard (see

TIP: If this is your first time using the "Gates Carbon Drive™ Mobile" app, you may
need to make several practice measurements to acquire proficiency. Continue to
make practice measurements until you get familiar with the technique and can
reproduce several consistent measurement frequencies.

AVERAGE result. Each measured frequency should be within a consistent and reas-
onable value. DO NOT include "outlier" results in the computed FREQUENCY

DELETE.
