Service and General Maintenance
For any assistance with—or servicing of—your test set, contact Agilent Technologies. Refer
to "Contacting Agilent," on page iv
If your test set needs servicing or repair, ship it to Agilent Technologies. Be sure to include
a description of any failed test and any error message. Ship the instrument using the
original packaging materials. Shipping the instrument in anything other than the original
packaging may result in non-warranted damage.
General Maintenance and Care
Use connector savers to protect front-panel connectors:
The use of connector savers (adapters attached to the front-panel connectors) will save
wear and tear on the test set's connectors. Adapters are generally easier and less expensive
to replace should they be damaged.
Maintenance:
There is no specific maintenance required. If you wish to clean the housing of the test set,
do so using only a dry or slightly damp cloth.
WARNING
To prevent electrical shock, disconnect the test set from the mains source
before cleaning. Use a dry cloth or one slightly dampened with water to
clean the external case parts. Do not attempt to clean internally.
