Replacing a fan tray module

The Secure Router 4134 ships with the fan tray module installed. This
section contains instructions for replacing a fan tray module.

When the power supply is fully inserted, the front of the power supply
unit is flush with the rear panel of the router.
Secure the power supply in the chassis by tightening the two
retaining screws.
Action
Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two screws that secure the
power supply unit that you must replace.
Grasp the handle on the power supply unit.
Pull the power supply unit from the slot.
Place the power supply unit on antistatic material.
Insert the replacement power supply unit in the power supply slot.
Push the power supply unit gently, but firmly, to insert it fully into the
internal connection port.
When the power supply is fully inserted, the front of the power supply
unit is flush with the rear panel of the router.
Secure the power supply in the chassis by tightening the two
retaining screws.
CAUTION
Risk of equipment damage
The fan is essential for maintaining optimal system operating
temperature. If you plan to replace the fan tray module while the
system power is on, ensure you have another fan tray module
ready to insert immediately. Watch the fan status LED for alerts.
