To rename an entry in the tree structure, click on the
corresponding entry to select it. Click on the entry again to
rename it.

5.2 Logging mode

In logging mode, the device logs CAN messages, GNSS
data, and internal variables.
All logged data is saved to an internal, nonvolatile memory
and automatically sent to the Data platform when a
connection is active.
NOTICE
The internal nonvolatile memory has a capacity of 16 MB
and also stores con guration les. The maximum number
of les in the internal memory is 4,000, with a le size of
up to 1 KB. When the maximum number of 4,000 les is
reached, the oldest le will be overwritten every time a
new le is saved.
NOTICE
After the rst initialization, the device is automatically in
logging mode. If it is then switched to real-time mode, the
device remains in real-time mode after a restart.
NOTICE
Before you start logging data, check the device status in the
machine overview in the Portal.
The device must be in logging mode.
The colored squares in the machine overview indicate the
current status:

The device features an automatic switchover function
between the logging and real-time modes. The automatic
switchover function is enabled as a standard.
