3. Fixing the RF unit

This modification is not necessary if Guide Pins are added to the

waveguide as described in F3-2005-025.

To fix the RF unit, insert two screws into the joint between the waveguide of the

RF unit and the waveguide inside of the chassis, so that the gap on the waveguide

is as small as possible. The reason for this is to prevent microwave leakage at the

junction between the waveguide of the RF unit and the waveguide inside of the

chassis when strong force is applied to the waveguide outside of the chassis.
