When the set temperature changes, climate con-
trol mode will switch automatically as follows:
from heating mode to ventilation or cooling

mode, or
from cooling mode to ventilation or heating

mode, or
from ventilation mode to heating or cooling

Setting the departure time

The set departure times are used for the vehi-
cle's pre-entry climate control and for predic-
tions regarding the approximate state of
charge and range at the time selected. Addi-
tional information on the charging settings: .
Select
Edit departure time

Select a departure time or set a new depar-

Setting the repeat days

Set the desired departure time and select the

corresponding weekdays on which this depar-
ture time is to apply.
Press
OK
to confirm.

Selecting seats
Select Driver, Passenger,
Rear left

right.
Pre-entry climate control will take place for
the selected seats.
▌Activating/deactivating pre-entry climate con-
trol for departure time
Requirements:
The high-voltage battery is charged suffi-
R
ciently.
The function has been activated via the multi-
R
media system.
To activate: set the departure time

page 171).

Pre-entry climate control for departure time
will switch on a maximum of 55 minutes
before the selected departure time. It will
remain active for another five minutes if depar-
ture is delayed.
To deactivate the pre-entry climate control for
#
departure time early: press & on the cli-
mate bar on the central display (see Owner's
Manual for the vehicle) or switch off the prese-
lection of the time on the climate menu.
If present, the following functions will remain

active once the vehicle has been started:
Seat heating

Seat ventilation
R
Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the follow-
ing functions will also be adjusted during pre-
entry climate control if they have already been
switched on during regular vehicle operation:
