Do not allow anything to protrude from

the sliding sunroof.
* NOTE Damage to panorama sliding sun-
roof caused by roof luggage rack
If the panorama sliding sunroof is opened
when a roof luggage rack is fitted, the pano-
rama sliding sunroof may be damaged by the
roof luggage rack.
Do not open the panorama sliding sun-
#
roof if a roof luggage rack is fitted.
The sliding sunroof and the roller sunblind are
operated using control panel 1.
The panorama sliding sunroof can be operated
only when the roller sunblind is open.
To open: swipe backwards across control
#
panel
1
and hold.
To close: swipe forwards across control panel
#
1
and hold.
Opening and closing
To raise or lower: press control panel
#
briefly.
To start automatic operation: swipe forwards
#
or backwards across control panel 1.
To cancel automatic operation: press control
#
panel
1
again.
The opening/closing process will be stopped.
Automatic reversing function of the sliding sun-
roof
If an obstacle obstructs the sliding sunroof during
the closing process, the sliding sunroof will open
again automatically. The automatic reversing func-
tion is only an aid and is not a substitute for your
attentiveness.
During the closing process, make sure that no
#
body parts are in the closing area.
& WARNING Risk of becoming trapped
despite reversing function
The reversing function will not react:
to soft, light and thin objects, e.g. fingers.
