& WARNING ‑ Risk of accident or injury
when using the cup holder while the vehi-
cle is in motion
The cup holder cannot hold a container secure
while the vehicle is in motion.
If you use a cup holder while the vehicle is in
motion, the container may be flung around
and liquids could be spilled. The vehicle occu-
pants may come into contact with the liquid
and if it is hot, they could be scalded. You
could be distracted from traffic conditions and
you may lose control of the vehicle.
Only use the cup holder when the vehicle
#
is stationary.
Only use the cup holder for containers of
#
the right size.
Always close the container, particularly if
#
the liquid is hot.
* NOTE Damage to the cup holder
When the rear armrest is folded back the cup
holder could become damaged.
Only fold the rear armrest back when the
#
cup holder is closed.
& WARNING Risk of injury due to an open
load compartment floor
If you drive with the load compartment floor
open, objects could be flung around and hit
vehicle occupants as a result. There is a risk
of injury, particularly in the event of sudden
braking or a sudden change in direction.
Always close the load compartment floor
#
before a journey.
& WARNING Risk of burns from the tailpipe
and tailpipe trims
The exhaust tailpipe and tailpipe trims can
become very hot. If you come into contact
with these parts of the vehicle, you could burn
yourself.
Always be particularly careful around the
#
tailpipe and the tailpipe trims and super-
vise children especially closely in this
area.
Allow vehicle parts to cool down before
#
touching them.
The driving characteristics of your vehicle are
dependent on the distribution of the load within
the vehicle. You should bear the following in mind
when loading the vehicle:
Do not exceed the permissible total mass or

the permissible axle loads of the vehicle (with
the load and including occupants).

The load must not protrude above the upper

edge of the seat backrests.
always use the partition net when transporting

objects in the load compartment.
Always place the load behind unoccupied
