Remove the snap ring, and p u l l
NOTE:
Since the push rod i s precisely f i l led i n t o the feed
pump housing, do n o l remove the push rod unless necess-
ary.
If
removed, be sure to confirm assembly d i re c t i o n .
I N S P E C T I O N O F F U E L FEED P U M P
1 . I N SPECT F E E D P U M P PISTON
Check t h a t t h e piston s m o o t h l y falls into the piston hole
by i l S own weig h t .
I I abnormal, replace t h e piston. If necessary, replace t h e
feed pum p assembly.
2.
I N S PECT PRIMING P U M P
firmly block t h e priming p u m p i n l e t p O r i w i t h y o u r finger
and check t h a t pressure a n d v a c u u m are created when
p u m p i s operated.
I f abnormal. replace the pri m i ng pump.
