( a ) Fully close the thrO llle valve, a n d check thai it retum
smoothly.

Apply vacuum to the actuator.
Check that the vacuum does not drop immed iately.

2 , I N S PECT VACU U M S W I TC H I N G VALVE (VSV)
Remove the
(b) Check that air flow from pipe E to pipe
(c) Connect the VSV terminals to the baNery terminals.
(d) Check that air flows from pipe E to pipe G.
If operation i s not a s specified, replace the VSV.
