Injec t i o n Nozzles
f b ) U s i n g a w o o d e n s t ick, remove t h e c a r b o n adhering t o
t h e n o z z l e needle l i p .
( c ) U s i n g a b r a s s b ru s h , remove t h e carbon from t h e
exterior o f t h e n o z z l e body.
(d) Check the noz:zle body for burns O r corrosion.
(e) C h eck t h e n o z z l e needle t i p for d a m a g e O r corrosion.
I f any of these conditions a re pres e n l , replace t h e nozzle
assembly.

When released, t h e needle s h o u l d sink down into the
body vent s m o o t h l y by its own weight.
Repeat t h i s test, rotating t h e needle s l i g h t ly each
sink
time.
