P lace the c a m s h a f t on V - blocks and. using a dial
i n d i c a tor, measure the circle runaut at t h e N o . 2 and
N O . 3 journals.
Maximum circle r u n o u t :
I f the circle runout i s g re a t e r t h a n m a x i m u m . replace the
camshaft.
(b) Using a micrometer. measure t h e cam lobe height.
Standard cam lobe height:
