[Wireless(AP mode)]
A wireless device (PC, tablet,
smartphone, etc.) is not
connected to this machine.
The IP address is incorrect.
The WSD port is in use.

Troubleshooting for USB connection

Possible causes
The cable does not meet the
specifications.
A USB hub is used.
The printer driver is not
installed correctly.
Solution
• Make sure [WIRELESS(AP
MODE)] of this machine is
set to [ENABLE].
• Check the SSID/password
of this machine before
performing manual setup.
• Make the connection in a
position with a good visibility
near this machine.
• A maximum of 4 mobile
devices can be connected
wirelessly (AP mode)
to this machine. Mobile
devices exceeding the
maximum number cannot be
connected. Disconnect other
mobile devices and try to
connect again.
• Check that the IP address
of this machine matches the
one set on the PC.
• Make sure the IP address
does not conflict with that of
other machines.
• Make sure the configured
IP address, subnet mask
and gateway address are all
correct.
Change the print destination
port to the standard TCP/IP port.
Solution
Please use a USB 2.0 cable.
Connect this machine directly
to the PC.
Please reinstall the printer
driver.
