Replacing the belt unit

When "ORDER BELT UNIT" is displayed on the display of the operator panel, prepare a
replacement belt unit. The next message will be displayed after approximately 5,000 sheets
are printed.
When "BELT UNIT LIFE" is displayed, replace the belt unit.
The guideline for replacing the belt unit is approximately 100,000 sheets when printing on
216 mm x 58 mm paper one sheet at a time.
• The actual printable pages before replacing the belt unit varies with the usage conditions.
• Since continued use even after "BELT UNIT LIFE" is displayed may cause a malfunction, please replace the belt
unit immediately.
• Use the belt unit until the end of its life and then replace it. If the removed belt unit is used in other machines,
the belt unit life is not displayed correctly.
• If [ADMIN SETUP] - [PANEL SETUP] - [NEARLIFE STATUS] is set to [DISABLE] on the operator panel, the system
will not show "ORDER BELT UNIT".
• Because the image drum (i.e. the glossy cylinder) can easily get damaged, handle with adequate care.
• Do not expose the image drum to direct sunlight or strong light (approx. 1,500 lux or above). Do not leave it
uncovered for more than 5 minutes even under room lighting.
• You can change the timing of displaying the message "ORDER BELT UNIT". Set it in [ADMIN SETUP] - [OTHERS
SETUP] - [NEARLIFE SETUP] - [BELT NEAR LIFE] from the operator panel. The value range is from 500 to 5,000
(in increments of 500).
